11/16/11- Dogs’ Sense of Hearing! Guest: Ric Heidiger

Dogs’ sense of hearing is 28 times more sensitive than ours and they can hear a much broader range of frequencies – specifically higher frequency noises.

Ric Heidiger is the owner of Doctor Don’s Automotive and has been an automotive technician for 28 years.  Ric has a diagnostic tool called the “Ultrasonic Ear” that helps him find sounds from a car that the human ear can’t pick up.  These are all sounds that dogs CAN hear!
